Amanda Grimm is a 2018 graduate from Purdue University and now works as a Technical Designer at Adirondack Studios. She double majored in Theatrical Engineering and Theatre Design and Production with a concentration in Technical Direction.

Amanda got involved in theatre at the age of nine as an actress.  She continued her passion for acting, singing, and dancing through high school.  In 9th grade, she was introduced to stage management, and discovered her love for the behind-the-scenes aspects of theatre.  Having always wanted to be an engineer, Amanda sought out a way to combine the two.

Purdue provided an amazing opportunity to combine her two passions by utilizing their Multidisciplinary Engineering program.

Her other passions include music, auto-racing, and spending time with her friends and family.  During her time at Purdue Amanda also served as section leader for the Tenor Saxophone section in the All-American Marching Band as well as Vice President of Membership for Purdue's chapter of the honorary band service fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi.
